Hey there, HAPPY NEW MONTH

First of all, you’re welcome to my first ever blog post. You may wonder, “why this title, what’s happening here, what are we doing?”. Haha, I gotchu! Kindly read on and you’ll soon find out.

As an adolescent, there were things I was seeing in my vicinity which were appalling. I didn’t know what else I wanted but I knew I didn’t want to be a victim of teenage pregnancy, I didn’t want to drop out of school, I didn’t want to follow the trend I was seeing. I also believed there were potentials in these young people that had to be uncovered to bless the world. I would always cry in my heart especially for the girls because they are always the victims.

This is where the passion for women and girl child empowerment started germinating in my heart and it’s been taking roots since. That’s how I found myself establishing Pacesetters Girls Club during my freshman year in 2017 which is now registered as a foundation. Pacesetters Girls Foundation focuses on empowering girls in rural areas and its fulfilling how far we have come.

During my University days, I committed to developing myself and helping other ladies do the same. I made an observation that many ladies want to achieve greatness and develop their potential to the highest but I can tell you most of them are headed for doom. Oh wait! I’m not a prophetess of doom. I’m saying this because of their patterns, their desires, their cravings and their daily lifestyle. No one achieved greatness living anyhow! 

I have this mentality that I can win all-round, I can nail it in every aspect of my life. I mean, I I don’t need to be divorced to be successful, I can soar in my career and every aspect of my life and still keep a man. So I kept asking questions on how I can achieve this and I realized I can’t get there without intentionality. I have tried and tested this law, and trust me it pays to be intentional, that is what it takes to see growth.

Here we are! I started this blog because I want to invite every lady who is interested in growing on every side to the table of intentionality. There’s gonna be a weekly blog post and you will like it. Since we are in the month of LOVE, we will be focusing on that. The theme for this month is, THE LADY, HER LOVER AND HER LORD. There is actually a book on the theme by Bishop T.D Jakes, you can get it on Amazon. 

I will be interviewing 3 seasoned ladies separately on the theme and I’m excited about it already. 

We’ll be focusing on how a lady can be intentional about loving herself next week and I know you don’t want to miss it, our guest is ready to share.
