The Visionary
At age 14, Barbara Mensah was already tired of the appalling things she was seeing in her vicinity – a rural community in the Central Region of Ghana. She was fed up with the cases of teenage pregnancy, school dropouts and many other menaces which affected the girl child mostly. She wanted to change the narrative so badly.
This passion led to the establishment of Pacesetters Girls Club, now a Foundation at age 20 during her freshman year in the University. The foundation has been undertaking several projects which are geared towards empowering girls in rural Ghana.
It was out of the passion to do more for ladies that The Intentional Lady was born on January 4, 2022 during her regular morning check in with SHS (Sweet Holy Spirit).
What started as a blog in the month of February has grown into a community. A community which is helping ladies to be intentional about their lives, by focusing on an area of their life every month and working to achieve GROWTH in that area.
She believes there is more coming as the Lord enables her, tag along and let’s grow together.
