MONEY MATTERS!!!

Happy new month tribe.

This month is going to be amazing.

Great things will happen this month, just align yourself.

If you are new here, welcome to The Intentional Lady Blog. There have been a couple of blogs that have been published already and I don’t want you to miss out on it. At the end of every blog, before the comment section, you’ll see two arrows, one to the left and another to the right, it represents the previous and next blog respectively. Do make use of it to access all the blogs on this site so that we are on the same page. All returning readers have a special place in my heart, let’s keep the vibe on.

If you are on my whatsapp broadcast list, or you follow me on Instagram, you may have seen what we are focusing on this month. June is the month we are gonna be intentional about our finances. Somebody shout MOOOONNNNEEEYYYY!!!

We are going to treat the following topics. Read on.

Relationship with money

I believe everything rises and falls on relationships thus, we cannot do away with it. How you relate with someone is definitely based on how you see the person or the level of respect and honor you have for the person. So if you have a wrong mindset or view about someone, you will most likely relate with the person negatively.

Our views about money determine our relationship with it. If you see someone who has a bad relationship with money, he probably has an incorrect view about it. We will talk about how to develop a positive relationship with money by debunking the myths and misconceptions about this subject. You can only master your money game if you have a healthy relationship with it.

What is your current relationship with money?

Intentional Spending

Here, we will talk about how we spend, especially as ladies.

What do you spend on?

Why do you spend on those stuff?

What benefits will such spending bring you?

Is it worth spending on that?

What influences your spending pattern?

We will discuss these and learn how we can be intentional about our spending and how to find legit ways to earn money.

Saving/Investment

All there is about money is not the spending. There should be a place for saving/investment. There’s a popular saying in Akan that translates, “as you are eating your eggs, then you are eating your chicks”. Eggs are hatched into chicks so the more eggs you eat, the less chicks you will have. So if you want more chicks, which will turn into hens or cocks later, you don’t eat all your eggs at once.

It is the same with money. If you want more money later, definitely reserve a part of what you have now, no matter how little. Channel it into something useful which will yield returns. We’ll learn about how to set aside some money for a rainy day or bigger investments.

SHS Conversations – Giving

John Wesley once said, “earn all you can, save all you can and give all you can”. If we are encouraged to be intentional about our spending, earning, saving and investing, why then should we give. There are people who believe they suffered to get their money and so giving is not in their diary. We’ll learn where and how giving comes in.

There are principles in life, which will never change for anyone no matter who they are. Giving is one of the principles of prosperity and whether you believe it or not, it works. We will also look at how the Holy Spirit influences our finances, better still the extent to which we allow Him in our finances.

This month is gonna be full of money conversations and you can’t afford to miss out on any of the topics we are gonna discuss. SHARE this blog to friends and family so that we can all be intentional about our finances and be financially wise.

I am very excited about this month’s theme and I can’t wait to learn from all the amazing speakers I am hosting this month.

If there is an area in your financial life, you would like to develop, what will it be? Drop it in the comment section and let’s help each other.

Until next time, ANTICIPATE!!!
